Kristiansen seeks questions, input during Feb. 24 telephone town hall meeting

Rep. Dan Kristiansen is inviting 39th District citizens to join him for a telephone town hall meeting, Thursday, Feb. 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The call-in radio show format is an opportunity for citizens to learn more about the 2011 legislative session, ask questions, and participate in surveys.

“Much of the initial committee work is finishing up and soon the focus will be on the House floor where we will be voting on legislation. It’s an important and ideal time to hear from the folks back home and provide them an update as we get closer to the half-way point of this session,” said Kristiansen, R-Snohomish. “This is also a convenient way for people to participate in their government, from their telephones and from the comfort of their own homes. I look forward to hearing from those I represent and encourage everyone to call in.”

Citizens may participate during the hour-long event by dialing toll-free 1-877-229-8493, and entering PIN code 15786 when prompted. For more information, call Kristiansen’s office at (360) 786-7967 or e-mail him through his Web site at: houserepublicans.wa.gov/Kristiansen.
