Snohomish teen pages for Rep. Kristiansen
Austin Skeith, a student at Cedar Park Christian High School in Bothell, served as a page in the Washington State House of Representatives. He was sponsored by Rep. Dan Kristiansen, R-Snohomish. Page duties are varied and include delivering bills, floor calendars and other documents to legislators in their offices and messages to the House chambers during floor sessions. Students are required to continue their studies and must attend page school where they participate in a mock legislative session and learn how to write a bill. To become a page, applicants must have a legislative sponsor and obtain written permission from their parents and school. Austin is the son of Shawn and Carri Skeith of Snohomish. # # #
