Statement from House Republican Leader Dan Kristiansen
on the upcoming resignation of Rep. Susan Fagan
“I am very disappointed with Representative Fagan’s conduct. Her misuse of state travel and reimbursement funds is a serious breach of public trust.
“We believed the allegations were serious when this matter initially came to our attention and requested a thorough review and investigation by the Legislative Ethics Board.
“After discussing the investigation with House Republican leaders, Representative Fagan decided she will resign and reimburse the state for the money she owes. We feel this is the appropriate course of action and in the best interest of taxpayers.”
