Kristiansen to hold telephone town hall meeting Jan. 24

Rep. Dan Kristiansen is inviting citizens from throughout the 39th Legislative District to join him for a telephone town hall meeting next Tuesday, Jan. 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The program is similar to a call-in radio show in which people may call and ask questions over the telephone, and participate in surveys.
“We are now well into a scheduled 60-day legislative session in Olympia. Issues under discussion include the budget, taxes, jobs and the economy, education, transportation funding and more. I'm interested in hearing from people and listening to their comments on these and other issues,” said Kristiansen, R-Snohomish. “These telephone town hall meetings have become a very popular way for people to learn more about the issues affecting our district and to communicate with their lawmakers from the comfort of their homes.”
Citizens may participate in the event by dialing toll-free, 1-877-229-8493, and entering PIN code 15786 when prompted.
“I encourage folks to pick up the phone and get involved in our community conversation,” added Kristiansen.
