Monroe teens give Rep. Dan Kristiansen a helping hand in the House

Dominik Cahill and Rafe Dahlinger, students at Sky Valley Education Center, Monroe, recently served as pages in the state House of Representatives. They were sponsored by Rep. Dan Kristiansen, R-Snohomish.
During the week they served as pages, Dominik and Rafe observed the Legislature in action and were responsible for delivering messages and documents to legislators in their offices, committee meetings and the House chamber during floor sessions. They also attended Legislative Page School during the day.
Dominik's hobbies include martial arts, public speaking and dancing. Rafe also enjoys dancing, as well as visiting the beach, working on the farm, and riding horses.
To become a page, applicants must have a legislative sponsor and be between the ages of 14 and 16. Additionally, pages are required to obtain written permission from their parents and school.
Dominik is the 16-year-old son of Conrad and Irene Cahill. Rafe is the 14-year-old son of Rodney and Gina Dahlinger. Both families reside in Monroe.
